Christina Hanna, MPH, CHES

Christina Hanna is a UX Content Strategy Lead at Kenvue and the Content Lead for Versalie™, where she brings a deep passion for health education and a sharp eye for consumer-friendly content. Before joining Versalie, she spent 7.5 years at Johnson & Johnson, contributing to projects across a wide range of health topics — from orthopedic and bariatric surgery to AFib and children’s ear infections. She often hoped a brand like Versalie would come her way — and how she's helping shape it.
Christina holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan, specializing in Health Behavior and Health Education. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Her academic journey began at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned degrees in Sociology and African-American Studies before teaching English in South Korea.
Her career has always centered around education and advocacy — whether in classrooms as a substitute teacher and third-grade aide, or on courts and pools as a swim and tennis instructor. Sher later applied her teaching to health, with a special focus on reproductive and sexual health. Her work includes:
- Interning at a women’s health and HIV clinic in Mombasa, Kenya
- Serving as an Education Intern at Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan
- Volunteering as an HIV test counselor
- Supporting the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health
- Working for the State of Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Program
- Contributing to Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Division of HIV & STI Programs
- Volunteering and working as a birth doula in southeast Michigan.
When she’s not diving into all things menopause and hormonal health, Christina enjoys reading, traveling, experimenting with new recipes, and relaxing with feline coworker, Thor.
At Versalie™, Christina champions inclusive, accessible health content and advocates for diverse voices, identities, and bodies in healthcare conversations.
